Hi Guys
Am sorry to hear that you have received such appalling survey standards, as a professional surveyor of many years standing i hear about these incompetent surveyors all to often and cringe at what they do to those of us who have standards.
In the future ask around, and even go on line and ask for references from satisfied clients and ensure that the surveyor is qualified and preferably a member of a professional organisation.
Hope you manage to get settlement, a good lawyer can help but again get one who is familiar with and operated within the maritime industry
